Adobe MAX London: Photo Challenge

This piece was created for a photo manipulation challenge led by photographer Rose Hardy for the Adobe MAX London event. The prompt: use Adobe Firefly to generate a custom AI background, then seamlessly composite one of Rose Hardy’s provided self-portraits into the final image.

I leaned into a dreamy, ethereal aesthetic, using light and color as my main tools to build a world that feels both surreal and believable. My goal was to create a seamless blend between subject and background—carefully matching tone, lighting, and texture to make the image feel cohesive and emotionally immersive.

This challenge pushed me to experiment with AI in a thoughtful, design-driven way while showcasing my skills in photo manipulation, color grading, and visual storytelling.
